You know that refusing plastic materials is the primary way to lower our impact on the landfill.
And here below are some examples you can relate to doing this.
Sometimes, no matter how well you take care of your homes and belongings…
It is inevitable that they are subject to the wear and tear of everyday use.
That said, you don't choose to buy a brand new when things can be repaired.
Instead, for example, you buy a new battery for your old phone which works fine instead of buying a new cellphone.
You know that one of the most effective ways to go zero waste is not having plastics in the first place.
Yes, it’s good to recycle a plastic water bottle after you are done with it.
But it is SO MUCH BETTER to never use it in the first place.
You know that reducing what you use will ultimately save more natural resources…
Also, create less pollution and consume less energy than recycling alone.
Below are some of the things you can relate to when you’re doing this.
-Reduce the packaging you throw away or recycle.
-You buy less stuff.
-Buy more durable stuff
You know that when you use things, you prefer those that are reusable over disposable items.
For example, you bring your own utensils and cups to work, rather than using disposable items.
Or when you keep your clothing or appliances for so many years…
So those won't have to be thrown out and replaced as frequently.
Adopting a Zero Waste lifestyle can often be more fun, weird...but fulfilling!
Especially when you realized that taking all the simple steps you can take toward Zero Waste—all while saving money too!
You see, there are a variety of ways one can practice Zero Waste habits.
